Dyeing paper-cuttings is an art form that merges the techniques of colour point dyeing with paper carving, drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese arts like ink painting and printmaking. This unique combination results in artworks characterised by their elegant shapes, vibrant colours, and intricate patterns.

Our newly launched paper-cuttings series showcases traditional flower and bird patterns, each piece meticulously hand-carved and dyed by skilled paper-cutting artists from Shandong. In Chinese culture, flowers often symbolise love, beauty, and happiness, while birds are emblems of freedom and joy. Through depicting eight pairs of flowers and birds, this collection vividly conveys zest for life and optimism.

To enhance the display of these exquisite paper-cut artworks, we have encased them in frames featuring double-sided clear glass. It's important to note that these frames are designed solely for display purposes and are not suitable for wall hanging.
